About The Department

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering was established in 2009 and 2011 respectively. The field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering encompasses many exciting technologies such as microelectronics, computer systems, mobile communications which have been among the fastest growing and most challenging technologies that enable the development of the modern information-based society. The EC Department runs one undergraduate program (B.Tech-EC) and one post-graduate program (M.Tech-EC). The Electrical Department runs one undergraduate program (B.Tech-EE). The EC and EE Department currently has 22 academic and teaching staff; about 400 undergraduate and 18 post-graduate students. We have 10 laboratories in EC and Electrical Department with advanced equipment and facilities for supporting our teaching and research.
