July 16, 2024Congratulations to Dr. Hiren Shah from the Mechanical Engineering Department! He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, in July 2024. His research was titled “Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Modified Pelton Runner.” In addition to this achievement, he has also published a design patent on the “Ribbed Pelton Turbine Bucket.”

The Department of Civil Engineering at Chhotubhai Gopalbhai Patel Institute of Technology hosted an expert session titled “Career Opportunities after Civil Engineering in Government and Private Sector” on 17th July 2024. Prof. Mukesh Rai from Acumen Academy, Vadodara, guided final and pre-final year B.Tech students on various career paths, higher education, and competitive exams like GATE and GPSC. The session saw active participation, insightful discussions, and concluded with a Q&A session.
