Congratulations to Dr. Hiren Shah from the Mechanical Engineering Department! He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, in July 2024. His research was titled “Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Modified Pelton Runner.” In addition to this achievement, he has also published a design patent on the “Ribbed Pelton Turbine Bucket.”

Under the guidance of Prof. Maulik Kakadiya, he has successfully concluded a two-month internship focused on the crucial topic of “Recycling of Plastic Waste & Preparation of Marshalls Bituminous Mix.” This commendable achievement was accomplished at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), located in the culturally rich city of Varanasi.
