Department of Electrical Engineering, CGPIT has organized Short Term Training Program on “Recent Trends on Power System” 12th -16th February, 2018 sponsored by Uka Tarsadia University. Total 34 participants participated in this Training Program, which includes B. Tech, M. Tech students from CGPIT and faculty members from CGPIT as well as from other colleges. Invited speakers were from SVNIT-Surat, M.S.U.-Vadodara, SVIT-Vasad, Nirma University-Ahmedabad, CKPCET-Surat and Retired Senior Engineer from State Electricity Board, Vadodara. The STTP is envisioned to facilitate the participants in acquiring knowledge and information in the areas of high Voltage, FACTS devices, state estimation, Power system protection and recent advancement in electrical field. The Workshop was coordinated by Prof. Jay Patel, Prof. Hiren Sidhpuria, Prof. Nidhi Shah and Prof. Jignesha Ahir of Electrical Department of CGPIT, Bardoli.
