Subject overview :

Without technical drawings, engineering would be a discipline of enormous guess work. Technical drawing allows efficient communication among engineers and can be kept as a record of the planning process. Purpose of studying Engineering graphics are to develop the ability to produce simple engineering drawing and sketches based on current practice, to read manufacturing & construction drawings used in industry, to develop a working knowledge of the layout of plant and equipment, to develop skills in abstracting information schematic diagrams to produce working drawings for manufacturers, installers and fabricators.

Setup 1: Interactive White Board:

An interactive whiteboard (IWB), is a large interactive display that connects to a computer. Drawing hall contains Interactive White Board (IWB) which has inbuilt facility of basic drawing entities like point, line and curves which helps students to enhance their imagination power.

Setup 2: 3-D models:

Drawing hall is equipped with various 3-D models for better understanding in projection of planes, projections of solids, section of solids and orthographic projections. Three dimensional models used in the laboratory may helps to provide an opportunity to enhance visual spatial skills.

Setup 3: Drawing Tables:

Drawing tables are specially designed taking comfort and facility of students into consideration. With each drawing tables, there are seven possible angle adjustments which facilitate relative ease to the students while working for two hours of lab.
